PARTICIPANTS NEEDED FOR RESEARCH RELATED TO THE ANGUS & DUNROBIN TORNADOES

We are looking for volunteers who incurred damage to their homes to share their individual experiences with and recovery from the Angus or Dunrobin, Ontario tornadoes

This study seeks to:

  1. Develop an accounting of the social experience of tornado, including the ways people prepared and responded to tornado threat
  2. Improve understanding of the social life contained within damaged physical structures and the various interruptions that unfolded as a result of tornado experience
  3. Uncover social attributes of structural recovery, including both the experienced challenges and triumphs; and
  4. Learn local perspectives toward tornado resilience

As a participant in this study, you would be asked to have an interview with the project’s co-investigator. Interviews will be held one-on-one, over-the-phone or by video, and will take up to one hour of your time.
